Hotel Information

NEAFCS has secured two hotels for the 2022 Annual Session due to limited number of rooms available at each.  Attendees may select the hotel of their choice.  Both properties are directly across the street from the Convention Center and within walking distance. All meetings and events, excluding offsite events, will be held at the Raleigh Convention Center.

NOTICE July 8, 2022 - We have been notified that both Annual Session hotels in Raleigh, NC have sold out of rooms on certain nights. If you are currently holding a room at either the Marriott or the Sheraton and uncertain about your plans to attend the Annual Session, we kindly ask that you release the room. Because our block has sold out and members are potentially holding rooms, this requires attendees to book outside our room block at a higher rate.  When members continue to hold these rooms and cancel closer to the actual meeting dates, this now opens up rooms that the association is held liable to fill or will pay a penalty fee.

  1. If you are in need of a hotel room for Annual Session, we ask that you keep an eye on the two hotel links and continue to book when available.  We will allow a few business days for members to release rooms and after this time, we will work with the hotel to increase our room block for additional room nights. We will notify members once additional rooms are available.
  2. Members, this means a higher financial risk for the association, so please help us and finalize your plans by Monday, July 11th so we can make a sound decision.

Be aware that last-minute cancellations have financial ramifications for the association, so please try to make any changes as early as possible – no later than 4 weeks ahead if possible.  When our block has sold out and attendees are holding additional rooms, this will require other attendees to book outside our room block at a higher rate.  When attendees cancel their additional rooms that they were “holding”, this now opens up a room in our block that the association is held liable to fill or will incur attrition fees.
