The Using Storybooks to Teach Children and Adults About Alzheimer's webinar will provide the audience with an overview of Alzheimer’s dementia and related behavior. It will discuss the impact having a loved one with Alzheimer’s can have on children and their families. An evidence-based approach called Developmental Bibliotherapy will be outlined along with recommended reading practices and things to consider when choosing a storybook depicting Alzheimer's. The webinar will conclude with implementation method, ideas and resources to take what you have learned and use it to educate your communities and local families who may be impacted by Alzheimer’s.
